Here at North Shore Guitar Academy, we're proud to
offer the finest music teachers on the North Shore at extremely affordable
rates! Our highly qualified instructors are degreed professional musicians,
offering years of extensive teaching and performance experience. We're
now offering drum, guitar, piano and bass lessons to accommodate all
levels and ages of students. From beginner to advanced, 5 to 95, our
diverse staff gears lessons specifically toward each student's learning
style, musical tastes, and level of accomplishment. But most importantly,
we take care to teach that music is rewarding and fun!

How old do I have to be to take private lessons?
We start students at the age of 6 but please call
if you feel you have a younger child who is ready for lessons
How much do private lessons cost?
Private lessons are $35 per half hour once per week.
How much is band bootcamp?
Band Boot Camp is $200 for the 8 week session 1 hour each week.

What type of curiculum
do your teachers use?
Our teachers do no have a set curiculum, as every
student has different needs and goals. They are able to use their expertise
and versatility to create a program tailored to each individual student.
Do I need to buy an instrument?
In order to get the most out of lessons, the student should practice
several times a week (everyday is ideal). If you do not own a guitar,
bass, piano, or drum set, it is necessary to either purchase or rent
one. Please call to check on rental availability.
Is it better to start on acoustic guitar, or is electric guitar okay?
Both types of guitar have advantages and disadvantages for the beginner,
and in the end, it's really a matter of what style you want to play and
which type of guitar is going to motivate you to practice!
What are your store hours?
We are open Monday-Thursday Noon to 8 p.m., Friday Noon to 6 p.m., Saturday
11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Central Standard time.
Will my information be kept private?
It is our policy not to store credit card information. We collect phone,
address, and e-mail information from people who have signed up for our
newsletters and customers. We may from time to time send news about North
Shore Guitar Academy to our customers; however, we will not sell or authorize
the release of these names to any person or organization.
How long will it take you to repair my amp or guitar?
Repair times vary depending on the nature of the problem. Although most
repairs will take a week or more, guitar set-ups can be done faster.
